Stevenage Signs - About us
Stevenage Signs is a new company founded in January 2007 which grew out of the in-house graphics department of it's parent company Stevenage Fabrication Ltd. Stevenage Signs can call upon staff with over 20 years in the sign and graphics trade and offer the latest sign making techniques such as full colour digital printing, CNC router cut Perspex lettering and Vinyl graphics as well as the traditional method of Signwriting using the finest lettering quills and enamels. We also offer custom airbrushing on a miriad of media including race cars and crash helmets. Infact, there isn't much we don't do but, in such cases we are happy to guide our clients to someone who can help. Please visit our gallery to see examples of some of our work.

What's in a sign ?
Not sure what type of sign you need ? Wondering how you go about putting your name on the company van ?
If you've never ordered a sign or vehicle livery before, it can be a bit daunting if you don't really know what you want or how to go about it. here's a check list to help you prepare and possibly save you some money in the process !

So, let's make it easier.

  • Make a sketch - Getting something on paper makes it easier to get your intentions across. You don't need to be Van Gogh !
  • Have a look at other signs - No need to copy, just get a feel for something you might like
  • Take a photo - Sending us a photo makes it easier for us to help you make the most of your sign or vehicle livery.
  • Have some artwork ? - Can save lots of time and money too. Best formats are eps or ai but we can working with just about any image format available - the bigger the better.
  • Size matters - Try to get an idea of how big you'd like your sign. Many people simply don't know what size will be best - we can help.
  • Location, location, location - Deciding where you want your sign fitted can help speed up the quote process. Other details such as what a sign will be fixed to and how high up are also critical.
  • Which material? - Choosing the right type of sign and material can often depend on many factors. Seen something you like elsewhere ?, You have a particular criteria ? You have an existing sign you need changed ? Need something fast ? or maybe you just can't decide. We can help. We will design your sign with every consideration taken into account, produce drawings and photos to show you how things will look and if you're not happy with something, tell us. We will make changes.

We are here to help you.
